The Finnish energy efficiency company WE Tech Solutions has been chosen as the Partner of the Year 2024 by the South-Korean shipyard HD Hyundai Samho, part of HD Hyundai group. This prestigious award highlights WE Tech Solutions’ commitment to excellence, innovation, and great project management in the shipping industry.

The award was presented at HD Hyundai Samho’s shipyard in Mokpo, South-Korea, and acknowledges WE Tech Solutions’ exceptional collaboration with HD Hyundai Samho, delivering high-quality shaft generator solutions for sustainable shipping. The partnership has been highly successful in advancing cutting-edge solutions that enhance vessel performance, efficiency, and sustainability.

WE Tech Solutions currently have 81 vessel contracts with HD Hyundai group, and more is on the way. The collaboration between the two companies started in 2019 when HD Hyundai group ordered their first shaft generator solution from WE Tech Solutions. This was also the way into the Korean market for the Finnish company.
