WE Tech Solutions is pleased to announce that a significant order has been secured for a shaft generator solution. The new order comes from IINO Kaiun Kaisha, Ltd. (IINO Lines), a leading shipowner in the maritime world. This order will further strengthen WE Tech Solutions’ position in the industry and drive the path towards zero-emission shipping forward. The new vessel will be built at Hanwha Ocean’s shipyard located in South-Korea, and be operated as the world’s only ice-strengthened VLGC of Ice Class IB .

For this order, the Solution 1 shaft generator solution will be installed on IINO Lines’s new LPG dual-fuelled VLGC, enhancing energy efficiency and reducing emissions. This solution will help significant reduction of fuel consumption and cost savings by using a variable-speed shaft generator for economical operations. The solution ensures optimized electrical power generation and reduces auxiliary generator operation.
