Daihatsu Infinearth, WE Tech Solutions and Mitsui & Co. have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to explore strategic collaboration in maritime electrification and decarbonisation.
The companies will jointly explore business opportunities related to electric propulsion systems, energy storage systems, shore power and wider electrification solutions for vessels and ports. The collaboration will focus on combining the companies’ complementary technological expertise, project capabilities and global networks to create greater customer value in Japan and other markets.
Through this cooperation, the companies aim to support improved energy efficiency, lower emissions and more efficient operations across the maritime and port industries.
