We are looking for an experienced and responsible Modelling and Simulation Engineer to join us on our journey toward zero-emission shipping!
What you will do:
- Provide DC selectivity analysis utilizing proven tools such as DIgSILENT PowerFactory or ETAP
- Provide simulations of electrical phenomena by modelling relevant parts of the electrical system
- Perform simulations and deliver simulation data within specified timelines
- Provide technical support to stakeholders and keep our simulation tools and methods up to date
- Model parametrizable, modular systems and system components
- Develop modelling & simulation architecture, methods, and scopes
Our requirements:
- Eligible to work and live in Finland (Vaasa)
- Sc. or B.Sc. in Electrical or Automation engineering
- Minimum 2 years of work experience with similar tasks
- Excellent understanding of AC & DC electrical systems
- Strong knowledge of modelling, simulation, and mathematics
- Knowledge of the tools Simulink, DigSilent Power Factor and/or ETAP
- Excellence in team working and communication in multicultural environments
- Ability to take responsibility and make decisions independently
- Fluency in English, written and spoken
This role does not require knowledge in Finnish or Swedish as our work language is English. Experience with Simscape is seen as an advantage.
