At WE Tech Solutions, we are currently looking for an experienced Application Engineer to join our growing WE team in the heart of Vaasa, Finland. As our new Application Engineer, you will work together with our engineering team to reduce emissions in the shipping industry.
Our requirements:
- Eligible to work and live in Vaasa, Finland
- M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Electrical or Automation engineering
- Relevant work experience is preferred
- Good team working and communication skills in a multicultural environment
- Ability to take responsibility and make decisions independently
- Organisational skills with high attention to detail and sense of urgency in dealing with tasks
- Full proficiency in English, both written and spoken
Experience in power generation and/or marine solutions are seen as merits, as well as knowledge in power electronics and PLC based control systems. However, these are not mandatory. This role does not require knowledge in Finnish or Swedish.
Your responsibilities:
- Industrial control system application code development
- Technical support towards customers and other stakeholders
- Commissioning support for new build projects
- Create and maintain project documentation
